Family Link in Schools
Information, help and support for children, parents and families - available at your school.
What does Family Link offer?
- Support and guidance - a chance to talk through concerns or problems.
- A link between home and school - by working together we can help your child to achieve in their learning.
- Guidance about things which have an effect on how your child gets on at school - behaviour, attendance and punctuality, routines and organisation, relationships.
- Help with concerns about starting school or moving to another school.
- Encouragement, support and opportunities for parents who want to take an active part in their child's learning.
- Support and information about how to get further help when necessary.
- Information about what's on offer through school and in the wider community - activities and opportunities for children, parents and families, local services and community groups, parenting advice, courses and groups.
FAMILY LINK IS A SERVICE OFFERED BY THE PRIESTLANDS PYRAMID OF SCHOOLS - We work together as a family of schools and other organisations to improve opportunities for children, young people and families. There is a Family Link Worker on hand in each of our 12 schools, ask at your school office.
